Restoration of mental freedom

*Mental freedom aims at creating awareness on the power of thought and help people take responsibility for the thought process.

>All physical reality is made up of vibrations of energy. Your thoughts have a powerful influence; they affect what happens to you.To know this is to know something great.

>Mind power is directing your thoughts towards a desired outcome. Put simply, what you focus on you attract.

A new life is but a new Mind

>If you want to make changes in your life, you must look to the causes, and the causes are almost always the way you are using your mind-the way you are thinking.

>You can not think both negative and positive thoughts at the same time. One or the other will dominate. The mind is a creature of habit so it becomes each individual’s responsibility to make sure that positive emotions and thoughts constitute the dominating influence in the mind.

1.Submitted to truth and love-it’s normal for the human mind to wander, making it to submit to truth enhances focus.

The mind is a creature of habit, what it focuses on,expands.

Love covers a multitude of sins.Focusing on truth and love ensures a peaceful coexistence.

2.Enhance critical thinking-thinking improves understanding and consequently, quality decisions.

For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is,those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” Hebrews, 5:13-14.

3.Nourish our minds-the work of the mind is to validate what it thinks.

For better results, the mind has to be constant by fed with relevant information.

What you feed your mind determines your appetite!

4.Mind our thoughts-

*Apostle Paul says,”I know and am convinced by the lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself;but to him who considers anything to be unclean,to him it’s unclean.”Romans,14:14

Thoughts are the building blocks of our lives.

What we think about most of the time, we become.

We must take charge of the thought process to become the best version of ourselves.

5.Enhance a positive self image-self image is everything. How we view ourselves determines how we live.

A good image enhances good feelings which fuel good results.

6.Be flexible-life is not always logical. Some things in life are a mystery.

Being flexible helps one to adjust in difficult situations.

It also eliminates stress.

The apostle Paul advised, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”Romans,12:2.

7.Have initiative-this is the ability to begin something.

Initiative helps to overcome certain situations.

Where there is a will there is a way!

8.Be honest with self and others-integrity is being truthful to self and honesty is being truthful to others.

Truth is the only weapon that wins people’s cooperation in the shortest time at the least cost.

“Let your Yes be Yes and your No be No.For whatever is more than this is from the evil one.”Matthew, 5:37

Benefits of mental freedom

1.Quality life-a quality life is based on quality decisions which in turn depends on quality thoughts.

2.Removes guilt-positive thoughts enhance righteousness.

“Whoever has been born of God does not sin,for His seed remains in him; and he can not sin, because he has been born of God.”1John,3:9

3.Enhances healing-Positive words heal both the mind and the body.

4.Enhances joy-positive words are like music to the ears.

“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain  in you, and that your joy may be full.”John,15:11

5.Enhances unity and cohesion-positive thoughts attract more positive thoughts and create an atmosphere of unity.

Cohesion comes from a feeling of togetherness.

6.Enhances progress and prosperity-nothing succeeds like success.

“And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others?Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”Matthew, 5:47-48.

7.Enhances peace and stability-when you resist evil, evil increases but when you focus on doing good, goodness increases.

A peaceful person enhances peace.

Effects of mental slavery

*The bible has great insight regarding mental freedom and mental slavery, therefore, quotes have been carefully selected to shed light on this topic.

1.Blindness-failure to see or discern what is obvious.

“If you were blind, you would have no sin;but now you say,” we see”,therefore your sin remains.John,9:41

2.Blocks progress-slavery blocks the ability to be better.

“And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?”Matthew, 5:47

3.Death-limiting thoughts limit life.

“Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things?

“I tell you, no;but unless you repent you will likewise perish.” Luke,13:2-3.

4.Breeds hatred-negative thoughts enhance hatred.

“Where do wars and fights come from among you?Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?”

“You lust and do have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. “James,4:1-2.

5.Steals joy-negative thoughts enhance anger.

” Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. “Galatians, 6:1.

6.Divisions-negativity scatters and destroys unity.

7.Poor self image-negativity distorts how you view yourself.

” But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness? “Matthew, 6:23.

8.Inferiority/superiority complex-negative thoughts undermine human dignity.

” For if anyone thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. “Galatians, 6:3.

9.Sin-negative thoughts enhance sin.

” But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. “Matthew, 5:28.

Mental freedom

Mental freedom is the liberation from the learning, beliefs, values, opinions, prejudices, judgements, world views, attitudes and standards which we harbour in our minds because of our interaction with the external world.

For a human being, the mind is a great facilitator. However, if you examine carefully, you also realize that the mind presents a huge problem to all of us.

All battles are fought in the mind and all happiness and suffering are experienced in the mind.Depending on how we make use of them and control them,we shape our lives and destinies upon the earth.

Therefore, we must learn not only to use our minds intelligently with great discretion but also to remain free from it’s negative and unhealthy influences.

Freedom comes with responsibility. It does not mean that you will do whatever you want ignoring the consequences of your actions and decisions. It implies that you use discretion in exercising your freedom and enjoy the rewards it brings without being burdened by the consequences.

*In a specific sense,a mentally liberated person is free from desires, expectations, need for approval, fear, anxiety and attachments.

Mind power laws

Like the law of gravity, which works whether you are aware of it or not,so are the mind power laws.

They work whether you are aware of them or not, whether you approve of them or not.

#1.Thoughts are real forces.A force is a push or a pull on a body.

#2.The mind is the sending and receiving station of thoughts.

#3.Thoughts magnetize and attract similar thoughts.

#4.We have power to entertain or dismiss thoughts.

#5.We can insert thoughts of any type into our mind.

#6.Inner and outer worlds are connected.
