Restoration of spiritual freedom

*Restoration of spiritual freedom aims at creating awareness on available opportunities to enhance fruitful and peaceful coexistence in the society .

*As it’s written, “till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.Ephesians, 4:13.

*The earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God to give it justice. Romans,8:19.

*Our spiritual freedom is the guarantee for restoration of all things!

The following are the ways of enhancing restoration of spiritual freedom;

1.Surrender to God-therefore submit to God.Resist the devil and he will flee from you.James, 4:7.

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us,an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.Ephesians, 5:1.

The fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. Psalms, 111:10.

The fear of the lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs,1:7.

The fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs, 9:10.

2.Feed your mind on truth-be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,let your requests be made known to God;

And the peace of God,which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true,whatever things are noble, whatever things are just,whatever things are pure,whatever things are lovely,whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-medidate on these things.Philippians, 4:6-8.

Fulfill my joy by being like-minded,having the same love,being of one accord,of one mind.Philippians, 2:2.

Do not be conformed to this world ,but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God.Romans,12:2.

3.Love your neighbour and love yourself-the commandment of love states that love your neighbour as you love yourself.

If follows that you can’t love your neighbour if you hate yourself.

Until you accept yourself the way you are ,you can’t pursue a better version of you.

You have heard that it was said, you shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy. But I tell you,love your enemies, bless those who curse you,do good to those who hate you,and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.Matthew, 5:43-44.

4.Live the truth-but be doers of the word ,and not hearers only deceiving yourself.James, 1:22.

If you know these things,blessed are you if you do them.John,13:17

5.Mind your words-therefore putting away lying,”let each one of you speak truth with his neighbour,”for we are members of one another.Ephesians, 4:25.

Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing .My brethren,these things ought not to be so.

Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening?

Can a fig tree, my brethren bear olives,or a grapevine bear figs?Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.James,3:10-12.

6.Mind your thoughts-let no one say when he is tempted,”I am tempted by God”;for God can not be tempted by evil nor does He Himself tempt anyone.

But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.

Then when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin;and sin,when it is full-grown,brings forth death.James,1:13-15.

Set your minds on the things above,not on things on earth.Colossians, 3:2.

For to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.Romans,8:6.

For what am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do,that I do not practice; but what I hate that I do.Romans,7:15.

7.Pursue excellence-and if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others?Do not even the tax collectors do so?Matthew, 5:47.

If your righteousness does not exceed that of scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.Matthew, 5:20.

8.Have unwavering faith-but let him ask in faith,with no doubting for he who doubts is like a wave of sea driven and tossed by the wind.

For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;

He is a double-minded man,unstable in all his ways.James,1:6-8.

For without faith it is impossible to please Him,for he who comes to God must believe that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.Hebrews, 11:6.

9.Worship in spirit and truth-but the hour is coming, and now is,when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth;for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.John,4:23-24.

Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the spirit of God dwells in you?

If anyone defiles the temple of God,God will destroy him.For the temple of God is holy,which temple you are.1Corinthians, 3:16-17.

10.Live peacefully-if it is possible, as much as depends on you,live peaceably with all men.Romans,12:18.
